Coalition of Middle Eastern
Dance & Arts
Founded in Miami by Oriental Dance Artist Virginia in the year 2000,
C.O.M.E. Dance is an educational organization dedicated to excellence
in performance and instruction of Middle Eastern Dance & Arts.
It’s mission is to create an appreciation and understanding
of this extraordinary art form through a variety of dance study programs,
quality performances and productions.
Classes & Workshops
Experience challenging and motivational dance instruction
with soulful insight into the music, history and culture of this Middle
Eastern art form. “Nurture your feminine spirit” while
you discover beautiful movements that improve grace, strength and
flexibility. Virginia has spanned the globe to diligently study with
legendary masters to provide the most comprehensive dance curriculum
available.
Performances and Productions
In addition to countless private performances and international tours,
Virginia has successfully produced five stage shows, Echoes of
Cairo, Odalisca Oriental Cairo Cabaret, Egyptia, and Amal Hayati.
These have featured Virginia and her Ensembles together with
masters of the art. Mahmoud Reda (Founder of the National Folkloric
Troupe of Egypt) raves, "Virginia is truly a great artist, ...
this is the best show I have seen in the US.... creative, artistic,
amazing! All of these productions have received accolades from both
the Arabic community and the general public, thus heightening the
admiration and appreciation for the art form. |
